Former Minister Kanna Laxminarayana as announced has joined Telugu Desam Party today. He left his Guntur residence with a large road show in hundreds of vehicles, and his fans following him reached the Mangalagiri Telugu Desam Party office. Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu who was present there gifted him the yellow scarf and welcomed him to the party. In the presence of both, hundreds of Laxminarayana’s followers joined Telugu Desam Party.
Kanna Laxminarayana, a strong Kapu leader who quit BJP last week has surprisingly chosen to join TDP instead of Jana Sena. It is said that TDP promised him a ticket in the upcoming elections. Kanna Laxminarayana after joining the party promised to work hard in the best interest of the party and thanked CBN for welcoming him.
Chandrababu Naidu said that it is a good sign of the party’s victory and that Kanna’s entry would strengthen the party.
