Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to leave for Bali, the Indonesian capital to be in attendance at the G20 summit. Modi is expected to hold meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the summit. India is going to assume the G20 Presidency on December 1st.

Some of the world leaders who are going to be in attendance at this summit are US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Vinay Kwatra briefed the press ahead of the Modi visit stating that the leader is going to attend 3 sessions n food and energy security, digital transformation, and health.

Russian President Vladimir Putin who instrumented the Russia-Ukraine war is going to skip the meeting. The G20 Summit, as the name suggests is a group of intergovernmental forums comprising 19 countries and the European Union (EU). The countries include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the European Union.
