Former MP G Vivek Venkataswamy today resigned from the Bharatiya Janatha Party and joined Congress ahead of the Telangana Assembly Polls 2023. Vivek a while ago met AICC Former President Rahul Gandhi in Novotel Hyderabad.
Vivek tendered his resignation letter to Telangana BJP Chief G Kishan Reddy and in the letter he mentioned, “With a heavy heart, I tender my resignation from the Bharatiya Janata Party. Thank you for your support during my tenure.”
TPCC President Revanth Reddy told the media that he wholeheartedly welcomed G Vivek to join the party and he accepted it. We all know that Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy recently resigned from the BJP and joined the Congress. Now, Vivek has followed the same route. Two senior leaders leaving the party is definitely a huge setback for the BJP.
