Bapatla: Former MP Nandigam Suresh has been granted bail by the Guntur Fourth District Court in connection with the TDP office vandalism case. Suresh was arrested by the CID on September 4, 2024, for his alleged involvement in the case.
In addition to the vandalism case, Suresh was also implicated in the Mariyamma murder case. On October 7, he was remanded under a PT warrant, further extending his legal troubles. Earlier this month, the Supreme Court had dismissed Suresh’s bail plea, making this latest development a significant relief for the former MP.
Advocate Tanikonda Chiranjeevi, representing Suresh, filed a fresh bail petition in the Guntur court. After reviewing the arguments, the court approved bail with conditions, requiring two sureties of Rs 10,000 each.
