Celebrating the centenary birth year of legendary NT Rama Rao, a special commemorative coin was launched by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu. Smt Droupadi Murmu released the coin at Rahstrapathi Bhavan. Smt Murmu gave an inspiring speech after releasing the coin.
In her speech, the President said that NTR breathed life into characters like Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, and others. Murmu stated that people worshipped NTR for the same reason. Murmu said that NTR always had social responsibility and it was evident in his movies. She also recalled how NTR’s public welfare programs are remembered. He created a new chapter in Indian politics said Droupadi Murmu.
The whole Nandamuri family attended this function which is a pride moment for the Telugu people. However, the likes of Jr. NTR and Kalyan Ram have missed the function which again raised many eyebrows.
