Guntur: Deputy Speaker RRR appeared before the district court to record his statement in a custodial torture case. The case has raised serious concerns regarding procedural irregularities and legal violations.

Speaking on the matter, RRR questioned how Tulasi Babu received Rs 1 crore from the previous government for legal consultation despite not being a registered lawyer. He announced plans to escalate the issue by writing to the Supreme Court regarding the alleged misuse of public funds.

Additionally, he raised concerns about IPS officer Sunil Kumar, questioning how an officer under investigation was not suspended and how he was allowed to establish an NGO while in active service. RRR emphasized that this goes against traditional governance practices and demanded a fair investigation.

Furthermore, he urged Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy to attend the Assembly session, challenging the government’s handling of critical issues. He also dismissed the “Jagan 2.0” narrative, stating that such remarks were made purely for political survival.

The case continues to draw public and political attention, with opposition leaders demanding transparency and strict legal action against those involved.
