CPI conducts “Chalo Raj Bhavan” today in Telangana

The CPI Telangana state unit has called for the Chalo Raj Bhavan program that is scheduled today. CPI State Secretary K Sambasiva Rao called upon people to extend support and make the event a grand success which was called in demand to abolish the Governor’s system.

K Sambasiva Rao addressing the media people yesterday criticized that no Governor ever worked efficiently in protecting democratic values in the country. There are some people who attempt but there is no effort, said Sambasiva Rao. He stated that the Telangana Governor has served as Tamil Nadu State BJP President. He questioned the Telangana Governor’s reaction to YSRTP Chief YS Sharmila’s arrest. “Why there is no similar reaction in others’ arrests,” questioned CPI State Secretary.

CPI leaders today participated in the Chalo Raj Bhavan program with their support and heavy Police Personnel were deployed at the Raj Bhavan. When the situation starts to go out of hand, Police took some of the CPI leaders into custody.
