The political developments in Andhra Pradesh became more significant. The arrest of Chandrababu Naidu has changed the dynamics of the political system. He was under judicial remand for 14 days in Rajamahendravaram Central Prison.

The latest update regarding this case is that Chandrababu Naidu’s advocates have filed a review petition in the Andhra Pradesh High Court. The advocates have already filed a petition in the ACB court seeking house arrest instead of jail citing Naidu’s health condition and safety.

However, additional advocate general Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy argued that there is no need for house arrest as jail is safe for CBN. The case was posted on Tuesday and the arguments are currently in progress. On the other hand, the advocates have also filed a review petition in the High Court. They challenge the applicability of IPC Section 409 which talks about the criminal breach of trust by public servants.

We have to wait and see what would be the development of this case.
