Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s mother Heeraben Modi is no more. It is known that Heeraben fell sick a few days back and has been admitted to the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre. The hospital has released a medical bulletin that Heeraben breathed her last in the early hours of today.
“A glorious century rests at the feet of God… In Maa I have always felt that trinity, which contains the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless Karmayogi and a life committed to values. When I met her on 100th birthday, she said one thing, which is always remembered that is work with intelligence and live life with purity,” Narendra Modi’s tweet translates.
Prime Minister Modi reached Ahmedabad from Delhi on Wednesday afternoon. He remained at the hospital for more than an hour and spoke with the hospital authorities. The final rites are being carried on currently.
