Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy was questioned on the second day as well by the CBI. The grilling continued for four and a half hours and after the questioning, Avinash Reddy spoke with the media. He said that the CBI should target the case but not the persons. It is known that Avinash Reddy was first questioned on January 27th regarding the case.
Avinash Reddy was not allowed to bring his advocates into the questioning room. The MP said that the CBI officials didn’t record the process despite his repeated requests. “I had answered everything they asked,” said MP after the questioning. He said that CBI didn’t inform whether there would be another round of questioning or not.
Avinash Reddy has also blamed the media for investigating the case sitting in the newsrooms and targeting him unnecessarily.
