During the meeting, several key decisions were made. The Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) will be dissolved, and excise duties will be restructured. The government plans to restore the previous excise policies from 2014-19 due to the rise in illegal liquor and marijuana smuggling.

The Cabinet approved the continuation of work on the Polavaram Left Canal with a budget of Rs 1,226 crore, including Rs 266 crore for previously canceled contracts.

Additionally, a comprehensive forensic audit on assigned lands will be conducted, with the final report expected by the end of September. Other decisions included the approval of 2,774 new ration shops and an increase in salaries for various government staff.
