Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, has approved the Agriculture and Cooperation Department’s proposal to secure a Rs 3,200 crore loan from the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) for the fiscal year 2024-25. The decision was made during a meeting at the secretariat on Tuesday.
Since its inception, the NCDC has disbursed Rs 31,277.52 crore for various cooperative projects in Andhra Pradesh.
In FY 2023-24, NCDC sanctioned and released a Rs 5,000 crore working capital loan to AP MARKFED for paddy procurement, implemented with the Andhra Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd.
