Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again slammed Congress, the opposition party for the Andhra Pradesh bifurcation issue in the Parliament’s special session. This will be the last session in the Old Parliament and from tomorrow, new Parliament would be the venue for the special sessions.

On this note, Narendra Modi reminisced the key decisions taken by various leaders in this historical building which changed the way of India’s progress. While remembering the journey, this is the time to move forward, Modi said. “Before Independence, the old Parliament was the place of the imperial legislative council. We might be going to the new Parliament, but the old Parliament will continue to inspire the coming generations.

In his long speech, Narendra Modi appreciated the contributions from the former Prime Ministers of the nation. “From Nehru to Shastri to Vajpayee, this Parliament has seen several leaders presenting their vision of India,” he said.

Modi also said that in this Parliament, new states like Telangana were formed. But the only thing is that the bifurcation is not done properly, he said.
