The NRIs are celebrating the occasion of Diwali on a grand occasion. Especially, the Telugu people are proving that nothing can stop them from celebrating Indian festivals. Diwali is especially very close to our hearts.
In Canada, Diwali celebrations were organized in Toronto City by the Durham Telugu Club (DTC). More than 800 members of Telugu families attended this Diwali celebration and celebrated amidst joy. Indian cultural programs, games, and songs were organized which turned out to be very entertaining. Get Home Realty Heads Anand Pericherla and Raghu Juluri assisted in the celebrations. Vidhya Nagar MP Lan Koi and Deputy Mayor Maliha Sahid attended the ceremony as chief guests.
Srinivas Varma Atluri, head of Avant Solutions, was selected as the Entrepreneur of the Year in this event. He was presented with the MPP Lan Koi Award. Sai Mohan Sharma has been selected as an eco-friendly role model. The Kuchipudi dances conducted under the leadership of the famous Kuchipudi Dance Vidyalaya Sudha Vemuri were impressive.
DTC President Narasimha Reddy Gutti Reddy, Directors Ravi Mekala, Chiluveru Venkat, Srikanth Singisethi, Ramesh Uppalapati, Guna Shekhar Reddy, Gautam Pidaparthi, Sardar Khan, Vasu, Kamala Murthy Yugi Cherukuri and Shiva were present in the event. The NRIs who participated in the celebrations relished the feast of delicious dishes.
