Saudi Arabia‘s Ministry of Human Resources and Urban Development has issued numbers regarding the work visas issued by the country. According to that data, over 8 lakh visas were issued in the year 2021. As per the statistics, 6,600 new domestic workers were allowed to enter the country while the other 6,400 domestic workers left the country.
The Ministry has also released the statistics regarding the cases settled through the Wudia platform. Through these settlements, workers received a total of 444.6 million Saudi riyals (approximately Rs. 920 crores), revealed the ministry. It has also revealed that more than 73 percent of the labor cases have been solved amicably.
Through the Qiwa platform, 74 new services have been launched. The ministry has also revealed that 95 percent of the needs of consumers are covered through this platform.
