Ramu Venigalla, who recently won the assembly election from Gudivada in Krishna district as a candidate of the TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP alliance, was warmly welcomed by the Telugu community in New Jersey during his visit to the United States.
An appreciation event was organized by NRI TDP leaders at the Sankranti Restaurant Banquet Hall in New Jersey, where hundreds of NRIs attended, many with their families.


Ramu Venigalla paid tribute to Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and Nandamuri Harikrishna by garlanding their statues. During his speech, he expressed deep gratitude to the NRIs for their support during his election campaign, highlighting their crucial role in his victory. He also encouraged NRIs to invest in Andhra Pradesh to aid in the state’s progress under Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership.
The event was attended by several prominent NRIs, including Dr. Jai Yalamanchili and former TANA president Anjay Chowdary Lavu. The organizers thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
