North American Telugu Association (NATs) in Florida which is going forward with a noble cause has organized a food drive in Tampa Bay, Florida and the response has been amazing. Around 20 families responded to the call by NATs and took active participation in the food drive. They are the main reason that the food drive has got an amazing response.
All NATs members enthusiastically participated in the food drive undertaken by the Tampa Bay NATs section as part of the ‘Thanksgiving Back’. Fresh fruits, vegetables, butter, milk, and dairy products are collected by the children and women in this food drive.
As much as 2,500 pounds of food that were collected were donated to the Hope Children’s Home, which serves hungry children in Tampa. According to the organizers of Hope Children’s Home, the food was sufficient for around 70 children.
Shekhar Kona, Siva Chennupati, Rahul Chandra Gone, Bhaskar Somanchi, Anil Aremanda, Vijay Dalai, Ramesh Kolli, Prasanna Kota, Ravi Chaudhary, and others played a vital role in making this program a success.
The NATs Tampa Bay section also thanked honorary members Dr. Kota Shekhara along with former chairman Srinivas Guthikonda who contributed to this program.
