Indians overtook the Chinese in receiving the highest number of work, study, and visit visas from the United Kingdom. The recently released British Home Department statistics show that the number of Indian students getting British visas has increased by 273 percent in recent years.
In the last year, 56,042 work visas have been issued by the Britain government. Indians accounted for almost 36 percent of Skilled Work Health and Care visas issued to foreign medical professionals. With this, Indians are going to play a vital role in the field of medicine.
The British Home Department said that the Chinese are in second place among foreigners who have obtained Sponsored Study Visas.
