HYDERABAD: The Indian American community gathered at the Royal Albert Palace to celebrate the BJP-led NDA’s historic victory in India’s 2024 general elections. Organized by the Overseas Friends of the BJP (OFBJP) under Adapa Prasad’s leadership, the event attracted over 800 jubilant attendees.

The evening began with energetic Dol Tasha performances, setting a festive tone. Hosted by Jyotsna Sharma, the celebration highlighted the significance of the Narendra Modi-led BJP securing a third consecutive term, an achievement not seen since 1962.
Adapa Prasad congratulated PM Narendra Modi, JP Nadda, and NDA allies, underscoring the victory’s historic nature. OFBJP general secretary Vasudev Patel expressed optimism for continued development under the new mandate. Shri Krishna Reddy noted Modi’s unique international record as a democratic leader elected thrice consecutively with a consistent vote share.
Speakers like Sudheer Parikh, Shri Albert Jessani, and Shri Piyush Patel lauded Modi’s accomplishments. Messages from union minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya and OFBJP global prabhari Shri Vijay Chauthaiwale were shared.
Highlights included discussions on various campaign efforts and OFBJP activities. The event featured musical entertainment by actor Patel and saw participation from prominent community leaders, including Padmasree awardee Sudhir Parekh and others from New Jersey’s Indian diaspora.
