We have already updated that the lottery for the H-1B visas for years 2023-24 has started and as per the current trend, a minimal number of visas are being issued this year to each employer company. H-1B being the most popular visa, there is always massive competition for it.
According to the latest update, the first H-1B lottery pickup was closed and the average numbers issued are between 15 to 18 percent and were closed today.
As per the information, the expected second lottery pick-up numbers will be announced around July 2023. An official confirmation in this regard is awaited.
H-1B visa allows American employers to hire foreign professionals with specialized skills to work in the country for a specific period. It is known that the nation allows only a limited number of slots every year.
