As a part of his US tour, Ex-irrigation minister Devineni Uma is in Boston today and the meet and greet program was organized by the NRI TDP Boston wing. More than 150 supporters of the Telugu Desam Party attended the meet and extended their support to the prominent TDP leader Devineni Uma.
The former minister explained to the NRIs how TDP strived for the development of AP for five years. Devineni Uma has called on the NRIs to conduct voter verification at the booth level in their constituencies and to take systematic action from now to influence the swing voters. NRIs have praised Devineni Uma for his contribution to the irrigation department in the state and wanted to honor him. However, Devineni asked them to honor the 83-year-old woman who came to the meet and greet.
