On the occasion of the completing 50 years of the Bay Area Telugu Association (BATA), diamond jubilee celebrations happened in style. The celebrations were held with great grandeur. Popular producer C. Ashwini Dutt and Consul General of India in San Francisco Dr. TV Nagendra Prasad participated as chief guests in this Golden Festival organized at the Santa Clara Convention Center here.
As part of the program, prominent doctors and donors conferred the titles of “Dathrutva Sindhu” to Dr. Lakireddy Hanimireddy and “Pravasa Bandhu” to Jayaram Komati. A large number of guests from India as well as the USA attended this event.
