In an interesting development, YSRTP President YS Sharmila has sent Christmas gifts to prominent leaders all over the Telugu States on the occasion of the festival. YS Sharmila is a Christian and has celebrated the festival with much devotion. She attended a church and prayed to the god on this auspicious day.
Telugu Desam Party general secretary Nara Lokesh is one of the leaders who received a Christmas present from YS Sharmila. Lokesh who is active on social media acknowledged the gift. He posted, “Dear @realyssharmila Garu, Please accept my heartfelt thanks for the wonderful Christmas gifts. Nara family wishes you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
This gesture of Sharmila has now been a talking point as Sharmila is the sister of AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and Nara Lokesh is from TDP. While a few of the people are seeing the political angle in it, many others are stroking them off and should see it as the festival present.
