Akhil Akkineni’s latest spy thriller Agent was a colossal dud at the box office. The film failed to bring in the minimum collections. Made on a mammoth budget, Agent turned out to be a total disaster. Surender Reddy has directed the movie and Malayalam Super Star Mammootty played a pivotal role in the film.
It is termed as Surender Reddy’s weakest work. Agent was bought by Sony LIV for a fancy amount and the OTT version was announced to be released last week but that didn’t happen. Many wondered why and here is the reason.
The film is being edited so that some of the portions which were missed in the theatrical screening will be added in the OTT version. So the delay. However, as the movie is already a flop, a delay in the OTT version release could make the audiences disinterested in the movie. A later date for the OTT release will be announced soon.
