Grand Diwali celebrations were being conducted by various organizations all over the world. The Telugu people love the Diwali festival and it is no different that they are staying out of India. NRIs all over the world are celebrating this festival of lights with much enthusiasm.

The grand Diwali celebrations were organized at Inver Almond Community High School Auditorium, Livingston by the Telugu Association of Scotland – UK (Tass-UK). Consul General Satyaveer Singh was the chief guest for this Diwali celebration. Cultural programs organized on this occasion entertained the audiences. Hundreds of Telugu members participated in this event and celebrated Diwali in a grand manner.

Cultural Secretary of the organization Vijay Kumar Parri inaugurated the celebrations. Silicon Andhra Manabadi Telugu students sang the song ‘Ma Telugu Talliki Mallepudanda’ and were impressed. Various competitions organized on this occasion enthused the participants.

Students showed their talent in different fields like songs, games, dance, plays, instruments, and music. Pushyaraga Siddha Sai, Hari, Divya, and Devi acted as anchors for this program.

Under the guidance of President Shiv Chimpiri. Culture Secretary Vijay Kumar Parri has designed this event. Treasurer Niranjan Nooka, Joint Secretary Venkatesh Gaddam, ITPR Secretary Pandari Jain Polishetty, Sports Department Secretary Zakir Sheikh, Youth Service Secretary Naresh Deekonda, Additional Projects Secretaries Rajasekhar Samba, Balaji Karnati provided the necessary support for the celebration.
