Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has today inaugurated the massive Dr. Ambedkar statue. It is a 125-feet-tall statue and is known as the statue of social justice. This massive statue stands on top of 81-foot pedestal at the Smriti Vanam, with which the total height of the structure building amounts to 206 feet. This statue is considered as the tallest non-religious statue in the country.

After inaugurating the statue, CM YS Jagan addressed the public at Samajika Samatha Sankalpa Sabha, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy dedicated the statue to the nation. He said that the statue represents the progress made by the dalits, minorities, and women in the nation.

YS Jagan explained the significance of Dr. BR Ambedkar’s teachings after the inauguration of the statue. It was made with a budget of Rs. 400 Crores, spans across 18.18 acres.
