Xi Jinping has said that he is confident that Vladimir Putin will get public support in next year’s presidential election.

Jinping said, “I am sure that the people of Russia will strongly support your good deeds.”

Putin was elected President in the year 2000. After being President twice, he remained PM for four years and then became President in 2012, in 2018 he was elected once again.

China has sent a proposal to Russia to end the Ukraine war crisis. Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that he has seen the Chinese proposal sent to stop the Ukraine war.

Putin told Jinping that he looked at the Chinese proposal to end the Ukraine dispute with great respect. He said that Jinping’s visit was “an opportunity to talk about this issue”.

Russian state TV played footage of the two leaders meeting, in which Putin is heard saying to Jinping, “Dear friend, welcome to Russia.”

“I know that you personally and all of our Chinese friends… hold a fair and balanced view of most topical international issues.”

Congratulating the Russian leader on his “strong leadership”, Jinping told Putin that the two countries should have “closer ties”, which he says has helped Russia prosper, Reuters news agency reported.

This meeting is being called an informal meeting.

Chinese President Xi Jinping is arriving in Moscow for the first time after the Russian attack on Ukraine where he will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin had reached China in the beginning of the year 2022, after which a famous statement of deep friendship came out from the leaders of the two countries.

But what will Xi Jinping’s visit to Moscow bring for Russia and China, how will it affect the Ukraine war, and how will it affect the relationship between the two countries? These are still remained answerless questions.
