US President Joe Biden has created a new record. He has appointed a huge total of 130 Indo-Americans in key positions in his administration. Indo-Americans are 1 percent of the total US population and this range of recognition given to them is the first time in the history of the USA.

During the time of 2020 Presidential election campaign, Joe Biden promised to give Indians key positions in his administration and he has kept his promise. For the first time in US history, Indo-American Kamal Harris became the Vice-President of the USA.

Former President Trump’s administration had 80 people of Indian origin. The number was 60 during Barack Obama’s presidency. Moreover, a total of 40 persons of Indian origin, including four members of the House of Representatives, contested and won various elections at the state and national levels.
