A large group of protesters, including many members of the Sikh community from across the UK, protested outside the Indian High Commission in London. Many of these people had Khalistan flags in their hands, many demanded to stop the action being taken against Amritpal Singh. Many people said that they are worried about the safety of their family and friends in Punjab, they demanded the government to stop the action and restore internet facility.

The protest was organized by the Federation of Sikh Organizations and different Sikh youth groups in Britain. These people demanded the British government to raise their concerns in front of the Indian authorities.

Earlier on Monday, the alleged incident of insulting the tri-colour came to light outside the Indian High Commission. To protest against this incident and to show support for India, many people of the Indian community reached there with the tri-colour on Tuesday.

Many people of the Indian community in Britain held a peaceful protest outside the Indian High Commission. This demonstration was done in response to Sunday’s demonstration.

Organizers told that the event was organized in solidarity with the Indian High Commission and its staff and in protest against the desecration of the Indian flag by protesters on Sunday. The people present there raised slogans of Jai Hind and Jai Bharat.

On Monday, a suspect has been arrested in connection with the ruckus in the Indian High Commission on behalf of the furious mob in the British capital London.

After this matter came to the fore, India lodged a strong objection to Britain. India summoned the senior British diplomat present in Delhi and demanded an explanation over the complete “absence of security” after pro-Khalistan separatist elements pulled down the Indian flag at the Indian high commission in London during a protest.
