Chinese President Xi Jinping recently visited the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) to inspect military preparations, urging troops to enhance their readiness for potential conflicts.
During his visit to a Rocket Force brigade, Xi Jinping highlighted the importance of focusing on nuclear capabilities and instructed the military to bolster its strategic deterrence. His visit comes at a time when tensions between China and Taiwan are escalating and border disputes with India remain unresolved.

Xi Jinping’s tour of the military facilities showcased the enthusiasm of the troops, who were encouraged by their leader’s presence. He stressed the need for comprehensive preparation for war, urging soldiers to develop strong combat capabilities to face potential challenges.
Xi Jinping also emphasized the importance of improving the military’s strategic prowess to ensure their readiness for future operations.
China continues its aggressive stance towards Taiwan, deploying fighter jets, drones, warships, and coast guard vessels around the island. This marks the fourth large-scale military drill near Taiwan in the past two years.
Despite Communist Party leaders emphasizing non-military means to bring Taiwan under Beijing’s control, Xi Jinping underscored that the PLA must always be prepared to safeguard the nation’s strategic interests and ensure the security of the country at all times.
