Former MP and YSR Congress Party leader Nandigam Suresh has been remanded to judicial custody by the Mangalagiri court until June 2. He was arrested on Sunday in connection with an alleged attack on a TDP activist in Uddandarayunipalem, Guntur district. Suresh is being shifted to Guntur District Jail. Heavy security was deployed at the court, and police cleared the premises and dispersed a crowd of his supporters.
