The suspense is still continuing in Telangana regarding the Telugu Desam Party. It is not known clearly whether TDP is contesting or backing out. According to the latest information, TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu has given the nod to Telangana TDP President Kasani Gyaneshwar. It is said that Kasani met Chandrababu today in Rajahmundry jail during Mulakath and at the time, Kasani updated that the Telangana TDP is ready to contest in all the 119 constituencies.
However, the inside source information is that the TDP might contest in a limited number of constituencies. The other side of the story is that the TDP might back out to contest. It is said that the BJP is making the discussions and trying to make Telugu Desam Party not contest in the elections. It is well known that TDP and BJP might go hand in hand in Andhra Pradesh.
BJP has reportedly also requested Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan to campaign for the party. Jana Sena has already announced to be contesting in 32 constituencies in Telangana.
