Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film Jana Nayagan, marking his political debut, is set to release on January 9th, 2026. Directed by H Vinoth, the film has made headlines with a record breaking digital deal with Amazon Prime has acquired the rights for Rs 121 crores, the biggest for any Vijay film.
With Vijay charging Rs 200 crores for the project, Jana Nayagan also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, and a strong supporting cast. While rumors suggest it’s a remake of the Telugu hit Bhagavanth Kesari, the makers have remained tight-lipped about the details. Fans are eagerly waiting for what could be another blockbuster!
