US President Donald Trump introduced a new $5 million “Gold Card” visa on April 3, offering foreign nationals an alternative to the EB-5 visa. The visa, which grants residency and green card privileges, features a golden design with Trump’s image and a value of approximately ₹43 crore.

Trump proudly revealed the card aboard Air Force One, stating, “For $5 million, this could be yours. It’s the gold card — the Trump card.” The visa program is aimed at foreign investors willing to pay the hefty fee in exchange for US residency.

While details on how to acquire the Gold Card remain unclear, Trump hinted that the cards could be available in less than two weeks, likely around mid-April. He also shared that he was the first buyer of the card but was unsure who would be the second.

This new visa is expected to be a premium alternative to the traditional Green Card, offering wealthy investors a fast track to US residency.
