Telangana Increases Liquor Prices After Restoring Excise Cess

Liquor prices in Telangana have been hiked following the government’s decision to restore the Special Excise Cess on Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and Foreign Liquor (FL). The cess has been set at Rs 10 per 180 ml bottle, with proportional increases for larger quantities. The revised prices, excluding ordinary liquor, Ready-To-Drink beverages, and beer, will be implemented by the Telangana State Beverages Corporation and suppliers must update retailers with the new prices.
