The Telangana Congress is set to expand its cabinet by the end of May or in the first week of June, according to TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud. The delay, he said, was due to internal equations and political balancing. The high command has finalized new names, and at least one current minister may be dropped, with changes expected in portfolios as well.

Discussions at the party’s top level have been completed, and the TPCC executive committee is likely to meet on May 26–27 to finalize the schedule. Names like Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy and D. Vivek are reportedly under consideration, though Rahul Gandhi is said to have raised reservations about Rajgopal.
