It is known that Twitter’s now boss Elon Musk has decided to cut down his employees size by 3,000 employees. Well, the bad news doesn’t end there. Another major company Amazon has announced that it is freezing the hiring process. Amazon declared that the economy is in an uncertain place and hence decided to pause hiring for its corporate workforce.

According to the reports, Apple is now going on the same path. The giant tech company has also decided to implement a hiring freeze across its corporate divisions. Another major company in Lyft has announced that they are going to cut down 13 % of its employees.

Stripe, a payment processing platform has announced 14 percent layoffs which round off to about 1,100 jobs. Microsoft hasn’t announced any layoffs yet but stated to its investors that the new recruitments should be minimal. Snapchat’s parent company Snap already laid off 20 percent of its employees. The impact of the global economy has now fallen on tech companies.
