The Telangana Cultural Society of Singapore (TCS-S) organized a spectacular Ugadi celebration on Sunday, marking the beginning of the Vishwavasu Nama year. Held at the Shri Shiva Durg Temple in Fotonog Pasir, the event was a grand display of cultural richness and devotion. Members of the society participated in special prayers, and renowned priest Perri Krishna Sharma conducted the Panchangam reading.
Following the prayers, members were presented with the Ghantal Panchangam, a sacred text authored by Siddhanti Butte Veerabhadra from the Srisailam Temple. Over 300 Telugu-speaking individuals enthusiastically attended the event, which was praised by many as an inspiring and selfless initiative by TCS-S.
The success of the event was attributed to the efforts of regional secretaries Santosh Varma Madarapu, Bhaskar Nadikattla, Shashidhar Erram Reddy, Vice Presidents Nalla Bhaskar, Durga Prasad, Santosh Kumar Juloori, Prashanth Basik, Vice President Sunitha Reddy Miryala, General Secretary Bondugula Ramu, and other committee members including Peruku Shiva Ram Prasad, among others.
The TCS-S leadership, including President Gadapa Ramesh Babu, Treasurer Nangunuri Venkata Ramana, and organizational secretary Kasarla Srinivas Rao, extended heartfelt gratitude to the donors, sponsors, and all participants.
