The Supreme Court has dismissed the petition filed by Raghurama Krishnam Raju, the former MP of Narsapuram and current Deputy Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, seeking the quashing of 11 cases filed against him by the previous Andhra Pradesh government.
Raghurama Krishnam Raju had approached the Supreme Court requesting that the cases, including one involving allegations of assault on an Intelligence constable, be dismissed. However, the court rejected his petition, stating that the cases were still under investigation and urging him to cooperate with the ongoing inquiry.
