Mumbai: Bollywood actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood has strongly refuted reports linking him to a legal case, calling them sensationalized and misleading. Taking to social media, Sonu Sood clarified that he was summoned by the Honourable Court as a witness in a matter involving a third party with whom he has no connection.
“We were summoned as a witness in a case related to a third party. Our lawyers have responded, and on February 10, 2025, we will provide a statement that confirms our complete non-involvement,” Sonu Sood stated.
The actor also dismissed any speculation about being a brand ambassador or having any association with the case. He expressed concern over how celebrities are frequently targeted for unwarranted media attention.
“This is just an attempt to grab eyeballs. It is unfortunate that public figures are unnecessarily dragged into such matters,” he wrote, adding that strict action would be taken against those spreading false information.
Sonu Sood’s legal team has assured full cooperation with authorities while urging the public and media to avoid spreading misleading narratives.
