Passengers using Secunderabad Railway Station may face inconvenience in the coming days as the railways have announced the temporary closure of several platforms due to ongoing redevelopment work.
As per sources, the platform closures will happen in phases. Initially, only Platforms 5 or 6 will remain open for 13 days. After that, Platforms 4 or 5 will be open for the next 50 days. During construction, only two platforms will be kept free for the work, while eight platforms will still be used for regular train operations. The redevelopment project aims to modernize the station, but passengers are advised to plan ahead and stay updated on platform changes during this period.
