Sankranthi 2024 is going to be a heavy rush at the box office. There are five Telugu movies slated for release for Sankranthi. Super Star Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, Venkatesh’s Saindhav, Vijay Deverakonda’s Family Star, Ravi Teja’s Eagle and Hanu Man have announced their releases for the Sankranthi.
It was expected that at least one or two films will postpone or prepone the releases due to the heavy rush but nothing of such sort is happening. Already, theater agreements are being carried out. Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram has high stakes involved and a wide release is expected.
The remaining movies will have to fight it out for the theaters. In addition to the Telugu releases, Tamil dubs are gearing up for the releases as well. Rajinikanth’s Lal Salaam, Dhanush’s Captain Miller, and Siva Karthikeyan’s Ayalaan are getting ready for release for Sankranthi. Allocating theaters for dubbing films among the heavy rush of Telugu movies is definitely a big headache for buyers and exhibitors. They might be postponed.
