In a major development in the liquor scam, Raj Kasireddy, a key figure in the case, has revealed that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was the mastermind behind the controversial liquor policy. Kasireddy, who was recently arrested by the SIT for evading investigation, stated that he was tasked by Jagan to design a policy that would benefit the YSR Congress Party and its leaders. He also mentioned that key leaders like Mithun Reddy, Sajjala Reddy, Vijay Sai Reddy, and others were involved in generating profits from the liquor trade.
Despite Kasireddy’s statement implicating Jagan, the remand report surprisingly does not mention Jagan’s name directly. The SIT has listed Kasireddy as the main accused (A1) and included other party leaders, such as MP Peddi Reddy and Mithun Reddy, in the investigation. This revelation is expected to lead to significant developments in the case.
