Washington DC: Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader and opposition head in the Lok Sabha, is currently visiting the United States. During his visit, he received a warm welcome from the Indian diaspora and held a special meeting with them.
In his address, Rahul Gandhi made major remarks about Indian politics, stating that the fear of Narendra Modi and RSS among Indian citizens has diminished due to the BJP’s lack of a clear majority in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Rahul Gandhi praised the Telugu language, describing it as a reflection of India’s history and culture. He criticized the BJP for attempting to create divisions among Indian languages and accused them of fostering conflicts.
Highlighting that India is a union of states, Rahul Gandhi likened it to the American federal system, where no single state or language is superior. He expressed that the national anthem’s message is that all states are equal.
Rahul Gandhi also discussed the importance of blood donation, highlighting the new ‘UBlood’ app designed to connect blood donors with recipients in real-time. This initiative aims to save lives by providing timely blood donations.
