Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports today announced the National Sports Awards for the year 2023. Honorable President of India Droupadi Murmu will present these awards on January 9th, 2024. Chirag Chandrashekhar Shetty and Rankireddy Satwik Sai Raj have been selected for the prestigious Major Dhyanchand Khel Ratna Award 2023.
These two will be honored for the services they have done in Badminton to the nation. For the Arjuna Awards this year, 26 sportspersons have been selected. Mohammed Shami is the only cricketer on the list to win the prestigious Arjuna Award.
