Telugu Desam Party general secretary Nara Lokesh demanded justice for the Agrigold victims. He sent a letter to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and released it to the media. In the letter, he took a dig at the Chief Minister. He reminded Jagan how Jagan had forgotten the compensation he promised within a week of coming into power. However, Lokesh criticized that Jagan hasn’t fulfilled it yet and the victims met him during the Yuva Galam padayatra.
He tweeted, “I have written a letter to the CM @ysjagan that the victims of Agrigold should be paid immediately and justice should be done. Agrigold victims are deeply concerned that you and your followers are making a concerted effort to get hold of Agrigold’s assets. Still, I request you to do justice to the remaining more than 10 lakh Agrigold depositors by paying the Rs.3080 crores owed to them.“
