YSR Congress Party MP Midhun Reddy has received temporary relief from the Andhra Pradesh High Court amid the ongoing 4000 cr liquor scam investigation. The Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department (CID) filed a case alleging a liquor scam during the YSRCP’s tenure, with Midhun Reddy named as an accused. He sought anticipatory bail, and the court granted interim relief, instructing the CID not to arrest him until April 3, when a final decision will be made.
In related developments, Telugu Desam Party MP Srikrishna Devarayalu raised the issue of the liquor scam in the Lok Sabha. Following this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah personally summoned Devarayalu to discuss the matter further, sparking significant political discussions in the state.
