The analysts are predicting that Maruti Suzuki Jimny has the capability to challenge Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha.
There is no update regarding the launch of Jimny in India but recently a senior executive of the company has revealed that there is a possibility for the launch of the off-roader in 2022. There has been much enthusiasm for the SUV since it was displayed at the Auto Expo 2018.
The different versions of the car available in the international markets already are promising. Jimny’s international version has a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder K-series engine. The 4×4 system of the car makes it a natural successor of Gypsy. Jimny is expected to have a three-door version likewise the international version but is expected to have a five-door version down the line.
