The Mangalhat police removed three flags placed at the entrance of Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh’s office, which he claimed were Pakistan national flags displayed as a protest against the recent Pahalgam massacre.
Raja Singh alleged the flags symbolized Pakistan and accused the police of suppressing his right to protest. However, the police disputed the claim, stating the flags were not of Pakistani origin.
Despite the disagreement, the flags were removed, and the police later left the premises. Singh, who receives 2+2 security and a bulletproof vehicle due to security threats, defended his actions as symbolic protest.
