Mad Square is a sequel to the hit movie Mad and tries to recreate the comedy magic. While the comedy feels okay at times, the constant stream of jokes in every scene becomes overwhelming and less effective, leading to a disappointing experience for some viewers. A few comedy scenes are great, but the film often resorts to routine humor, which makes it lose its freshness and impact.

The first half and the timing by actor Sree Shobhan are good, but the lack of a strong storyline and reliance on repetitive comedy are significant drawbacks. The movie struggles to maintain a consistent pace and ends up feeling more predictable than funny.

Pros

  • Sree Shobhan’s timing
  • A few good comedy scenes

Cons

  • Lack of a strong story
  • Repetitive routine comedy
